Frequently Asked Questions

  • No appointment is necessary at our drop-in clinics. To see a budgeter in our main office please phone for an appointment.

  • Our opening ours are found on our Contact Us page.

  • It is important that you have available as much of the following as possible:

    • Payslips – 3 recent payslips if employed.

    OR

    • WINZ – a print out of your benefit payment and any deductions they make from your benefit.

    If you have a My.MSD account, bring your login and password and we can print the information out here.

    • Bank statements – 3 months of bank statements for all bank accounts.

    • Regular bills – power, water, phone, etc.

    • Statements of Debt – latest statements of any debt you have and what the regular payments are.

  • Our financial mentors are all trained to the National Building Financial Capability Charitable Trust standards which is a comprehensive and in-depth training programme. The programme includes formal training, on the job training with supervision and ongoing, regular training sessions.

  • If you are unable to pay your bills, please make an appointment to speak to one of our financial mentors. Our service is FREE and we can help explain your options to you.
